October – December 2007: Qiu Jun (CHINA)

Qiu Jun (b.1976), lives and works in Guangzhou.
In 2005 he graduated in Multimedia Art at the South China Normal University in Guangzhou. Qiu Jun has been included in a number of exhibitions around China and abroad including the OCT art space, Shenzhen; The Xiangning Art Museum, Shenzhen; and the Guangdong Art Museum. Recently Qiu Jun was a guest resident at the Cittadelarte – Michelangelo Pistoletto Foundation, Italy.

While in Bergen Qiu Jun will in addition to his own practice make workshops with pin hole cameras for school children together with Flaggfabrikken member Åse Løvgren. They will be discussing themes such as what it will say to live in Norway. Qiu Jun will also exhibit at the 3,14 Foundation in Bergen.
