One-Night Stands – What to do with this possibility

Tori Wrånes & ROLLO (NO)

Norwegian artist Tori Wrånes (b.1978) combines theater, sculpture and soundscapes into breath taking performances with a surreal state of mind. Together with her band ROLLO an eclectic scenery will take place in Landmark by the means of a saw, a piano, a voice, a computer, a figure and an accordion.

ROLLO recently released their debut cassette(!) FABEL TAKE AWAY at the te2rb company. Somewhere in the borderlines of dark Balkan-pop and psychedelic folk music, ROLLO continuously dodge definitions of style and genre by renaming themselves and changing their onstage line-up. This Thursday ROLLO will be formed by the Italian sound artist Simona Barbera and the Norwegian composer Jan Erik Mikalsen.

Apart from being an artist Tori Wrånes has a background as an actress and a musician.
